Alrewas Surgery at Rosliston parkrun! ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐ŸŒณ

On Friday 5th April, some of the Alrewas Surgery team took part in the Rosliston parkrunโ€”and we had a fantastic time! As an Active Practice and a registered parkrun Practice, weโ€™re committed to promoting physical activity and wellbeing for both our staff and our patients.

The event was kindly organised by Joanne, one of our team members and a keen parkrun enthusiast. Joanne is passionate about the benefits of regular movement for mental and physical health, and if youโ€™d like to learn more about getting involved with parkrun or other Active Practice activities, you can ask for her at receptionโ€”sheโ€™s always happy to chat!

Being an Active Practice means making small but meaningful changes to encourage a healthier lifestyle. One simple example is how our clinicians have swapped calling patients in via the intercom for walking to the waiting room and personally collecting themโ€”adding some extra movement into their day and creating a more personal touch.

Weโ€™d love to see more of our patients getting involved with local parkruns. Whether you walk, jog, run, or volunteer, itโ€™s a welcoming and inclusive environment for all ages and abilities.

Letโ€™s keep moving, together! ๐Ÿ’™
