Alrewas Surgery at Rosliston parkrun! ๐โโ๏ธ๐ณ

On Friday 5th April, some of the Alrewas Surgery team took part in the Rosliston parkrunโand we had a fantastic time! As an Active Practice and a registered parkrun Practice, weโre committed to promoting physical activity and wellbeing for both our staff and our patients.
The event was kindly organised by Joanne, one of our team members and a keen parkrun enthusiast. Joanne is passionate about the benefits of regular movement for mental and physical health, and if youโd like to learn more about getting involved with parkrun or other Active Practice activities, you can ask for her at receptionโsheโs always happy to chat!
Being an Active Practice means making small but meaningful changes to encourage a healthier lifestyle. One simple example is how our clinicians have swapped calling patients in via the intercom for walking to the waiting room and personally collecting themโadding some extra movement into their day and creating a more personal touch.
Weโd love to see more of our patients getting involved with local parkruns. Whether you walk, jog, run, or volunteer, itโs a welcoming and inclusive environment for all ages and abilities.
Letโs keep moving, together! ๐
