Booking Appointments
To see a Doctor, please telephone to make an appointment
on the day you wish to be seen before 5.00 pm . Our appointments
are released each morning from 08.15 am. These can be booked
by telephone or in person at the surgery. In most cases you
will be able to see the doctor of your choice, but this cannot
always be guaranteed. Should the doctors be fully booked we may be able to book a telephone appointment with our Nurse Practitioner.
Advanced bookings
Each doctor has a limited number of appointments in
each surgery that can be booked up to 3 weeks in advance.
To see a nurse
Nurse appointments can be Clinic appointments, pre-bookable,
same day (for certain procedures only) and telephone. Booking
can be made in the same way as for the doctor.
Home visits
If due to your illness you are unable to attend the surgery
please telephone before 10.30 am (except in emergencies). It is
extremely helpful if you can give the receptionist as much information as possible of the problem as this allows us to assess the urgency and
plan our visits accordingly. Please do not book a home visit
due to lack of transport.

Emergencies
Please telephone the Surgery at all times - 01283 790316. At night and weekends a recorded message will advise you.
Our Out of Hours Emergency Service is covered by Badger Harmoni - providing emergency medical care on weekdays from 6.00 pm in the evening, through the night until our doctors take over at 8.00 am. At weekends the service runs from 6.30 pm on Fridays until Monday morning at 8.00 am. When you get through to the service you can obtain medical advice, or if you need to see a doctor you will be asked to attend the Emergency Medical Centre which is at Cross Street Clinic in Burton on Trent. If you are very ill or infirm a doctor may visit you at home.
