Our Practice Manager works full time and may be contacted to discuss any non medical matters. We have a team of highly experienced receptionists and administrators who work hard to ensure that the surgery runs efficiently.

Practice Nurse Team
All of our practice nurses hold mixed sessions for general consultations and treatments. Clinics for long term conditions are held daily and appointment are sent out for these a month in advance.

Paula and Sally run a Travel Clinic two afternoons a month and Ros works closely alongside Sally Jordan our Health Visitor on Tuesday afternoons in the Child Health and Immunisation Clinic.

Ros specialises in diabetes care and Paula has special interest in Asthma and COPD. Sally has recently completed the diabetic and asthma course ans this has extended our provision of care.

Since completing the Specialist Practice Degree, Paula is able to help you with advice and treatment of minor illnesses by telephone or in person with an appointment at the surgery.

All of the Nurses are experienced in treatment of minor injuries and should you be unfortunate enough to need this service please contact the surgery for advice.

Our experienced Health Care Assistants, Jacky Burton and Gail Dodd, provide the following services within the practice:

New Patient Registration Medicals - Wednesday & Friday Afternoons
Blood Taking Clinics - Every Morning
Hearing Tests - Wednesday & Friday Afternoon
ECGS - Wednesday & Friday Afternoons

Jacky and Gail look after all the nursing stocks within the surgery and are looking forward to extending their role even further

District Nurses

Our district Nurses provide nursing care and support for patients and their families in their own homes, who are unable, through illness, to attend surgery.

Midwife
• Maria Broomhall RGN.RM.
Our Midwife looks after all our expectant mothers with support from the doctors. If you are pregnant please make an appointment with the Midwife who will book your ante-natal care.

Health Visitor
Our Health Visitor Sally Jordan is available to give help and advice on all family health issues. She has special responsibility for the health and development of the under fives and runs the Child Health Clinic.

Other Members of the Primary Care Team
Our Physiotherapist, Chiropodist and Community Psychiatric Nurses/Counsellors run regular clinics. Referrals are arranged through the doctor.
